Am I Still on This Planet?

The taxi drove me a long way in silence. After reading the chat history, I continued searching in English and Arabic and found a lot of related articles. After a quick glance, I found that most of them are from a piece of news I just read. Two of these websites attracted me:one is the website of the World Health Organization, and the other is the website of BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation).

On January 11, the BBC website published an article titled “A mysterious Chinese virus: What should we know?” After a quick glance,I found that it was a very important article, which hit my mind directly. There is no doubt that many people have similar queries and concerns about the unknown virus and how it transmits. Then, I opened another link, which is a report published on the World Health Organization website on January 12, 2020. This report is a treasure for me, because in addition to providing information in Arabic, it also provides a large number of links, including the report provided by the Wuhan Municipal Health Commission between December 31, 2019 and January 12, 2020. In addition to these reports in Chinese, the organization also released another report in English, titled “WHO Guidelines for International Travel and Trade in Outbreak of Novel Coronavirus Infected Pneumonia in China”.

In the moment of chaos, I need to decide whether to stay in Wuhan or leave Wuhan. I sent the link of the report in Chinese to my Algerian friend Leila to help me understand the content, meanwhile eagerly reading the English travel guide.
