It is amazing that the simple sentences hold so much meaning and have been able to shape whole societies, and they essentially come from the thinking of one incredible man.

结构简单的句子，却蕴含着能够塑造整个社会的力量。反复诵读这些神奇的句子，我不禁惊叹于智者的思想。

子曰：“父母在，不远游，游必有方。”

The Master said, “While your parents are alive, do not wander far away; if you do so, go only where you have said you are going.”

子曰：“见贤思齐焉，见不贤而内自省也。”

The Master said, “When we see men of worth, we should think of equaling them; when we see men of a contrary character , we should turn inwards and examine ourselves.”

子曰：“知之者不如好之者，好之者不如乐之者。”

The Master said,“To prefer it is better than only to know it. Be delight with it is better than merely to prefer it.”

子曰：“中人以上，可以语上也；中人以下，不可以语上也。”

The Master said,“To men who are above average, one may speak of higher things; but to those below average, one may not.”

子曰：“知者乐水，仁者乐山。知者动，仁者静。知者乐，仁者寿。”

The Master said,“The wise delight in water, the virtuous delight in mountains. The wise are active, the virtuous stay still. The wise are happy, the virtuous are long-lived.”
