6.3 Hydraulic Regulation and Protection Device
6.3.1 Installation of the rotating damper shall comply with the following provisions:
1 The damping tube shall be firmly fixed,and the rotating damper and shaft shall be properly fastened.
2 The Babbitt metal of oil seal ring shall be free of disengagement or peel-off,the spiral groove shall be oriented to prevent leakage of oil flow.The total radial clearance of oil seal ring should be 0.05mm-0.13mm,its axial clearance should be less than 0.03mm,and after assembling,the rotating damper body shall be able to rotate flexibly.
3 The stem of needle valve for oil pressure adjustment shall have sufficient adjusting length.
6.3.2 Installation of the amplifier of rotating damper shall comply with the following provisions,as shown in Fig.6.3.2:
1 The butterfly valve port and seat plane shall be smooth and flat,free of scratch.
2 The lever shall be fixed at a position to ensure concentricity of butterfly valve and valve seat,without torsion of the bellow cylinder.
3 When the lever is at horizontal position,the gap a and b between the top and bottom limit nuts and lever and the gap c of butterfly valve shall comply with manufacturer requirements and be recorded,and the limit nuts shall be locked.

4 The centers of the main shaft synchronizer springs shall be respectively aligned with the adjusting screws,to prevent deflection of springs.
5 The filter plates shall be correctly assembled,and it shall be possible to turn the element of scrape filter with a handle.
6.3.3 Installation of radial bored pulse pump shall comply with the following provisions,as shown in Fig.6.3.3:

1 The radial clearance of oil seal ring shall comply with requirements on drawings,the total radial clearance a of the middle oil seal ring and rear oil seal ring should be 0.05mm-0.13mm,the total radial clearance b of the front oil seal ring should be 0.04mm-0.06mm.
2 The axial clearance c of both sides of pump wheel with pump casing shall be equal,and should be about 5mm.
3 The center deviation of radial bored pump and main oil pump coupling shall be less than 0.05mm,and the radial run out of guide rod at the front oil seal ring outer side shall be less than 0.03mm.
6.3.4 Installation of elastic governor shall comply with the following provisions,as shown in Fig.6.3.4:

1 An elastic governor assembled and adjusted at the factory shall not be disassembled on-site,and it is only necessary to measure and record the dimensions and gaps of different parts,the flying hammers shall be symmetrical on left and right,and the distance K between the spring belt and support shall comply with manufacturer requirements.
2 The governing plane of spring belt facing the follow-up pilot valve nozzle shall be smooth and flat,and be vertical to the axial line of nozzle.
3 The spring seat shall be checked as without looseness and be locked.
6.3.5 Installation of synchronizer shall comply with the following provisions:
1 The worm wheel set or gear set shall be in good engagement.
2 The number of turns of synchronizer hand wheel shall comply with manufacturer requirements,the hand wheel shall be flexible when turned,and it shall be possible to move the screw homogeneously and lightly.
3 The synchronizer shall be provided with a travel indicator,and the indication shall agree with the internal effective travel.
4 The clutch spring tightness shall be properly adjusted,the clutch shall be able to slide when the synchronizer is manually operated;when electrically operated,the clutch shall not slide.The synchronizer shall be able to turn idly when located between the upper and lower limits.
5 The gap between T-shaped connector of screw and the governor pilot valve end hook should not exceed 0.20mm.
6.3.6 The installation of the pilot valves in control mechanism and protecting devices shall comply with the following provisions:
1 The radial clearance between pilot valves and pilot valve sleeves,the overlapping of pilot valve travel with pilot valve and the window dimensions of overspeed pilot valve shall be checked against drawings for compliance,the sliding fitting parts shall slide freely,and the radial clearances shall comply with the provisions in Table 6.3.6.

2 The clearance K between the servo pilot valve nozzle end and the governing block of elastic governor,as shown in Fig.6.3.4,shall comply with ex-works records of manufacturer,and be recorded on installation record.
3 The radial clearance between relay and relay housing,the peripheral clearance between relay butterfly valve and servomotor pilot valve top shall comply with manufacturer requir-ements.
6.3.7 Installation of piston servomotor shall comply with the following provisions:
1 The piston shall be checked as specified in 6.1.4 and be recorded.
2 The piston ring shall have good elasticity,in good contact with cylinder wall and with some clearance at the connection.The total axial clearance of piston ring in piston groove should be 0.04mm-0.08mm.When there are two or more piston rings,the cutout position of the piston rings shall be staggered by 90°-180°.
3 The feedback sliding groove shall be flat and smooth,and be securely fixed on piston rod without jamming with the roller.
4 In a hydraulic adjusting system using rotating damper,the tensile and compression length of the static feedback pulling spring and dynamic feedback compression spring at the upper part of relay and the distance from feedback lever pivot from relay center shall comply with requirements on drawings.
5 The joint surfaces for pressurized oil at the bottom of servomotor housing shall be in good contact,and there shall be no gap when checked with a 0.05mm feeler gauge without tightening the bolts.The packing on joint surfaces shall comply with the provisions in 6.1.5.
6 The piston position shall be checked according to manufacturer requirements for conformity with the local and remote travel indicator indication of servomotor.
6.3.8 Installation of connecting rod device shall comply with the provision in 6.1.4.When the connecting rod length is adjusted,it shall be ensured that the bolt shall be screwed into the nut by at least 1.5 times the rod diameter,the connecting rod shall not skew,shall move flexibly without jamming at the connection,and an expansion gap required by manufacturer shall be reserved.
6.3.9 Installation of rack driving device shall comply with the following provisions:
1 When the rack is engaged with gear,the tooth side clearance over the whole length of the rack should be 0.15mm-0.20mm.
2 Between the rack and guiding roller there shall be a clearance of 0.30mm-0.70mm over the whole travel.
3 A clearance shall exist between the rack side and gear bracket to ensure no friction in case of thermal expansion in operation.
4 In the movement over the whole length,the teeth of rack shall not be disengaged,the corresponding teeth shall have steel stamp marks and be in good contact.
5 After connection of servomotor and cam shaft and rack,the zero point of both servomotor and cam indicators shall correspond to each other,and the braking screw of cam indicator shall be tightened.
6.3.10 For the startup valve,in addition to the inspection as per 6.3.6,correct connection or shutoff of the internal oil circuit when the pilot valve is at different positions shall be confirmed,and the pilot valve travel and indicating dial scale shall agree to each other.
6.3.11 Installation of lever butterfly valve type pressure regulator shall comply with the following provisions:
1 The pressure transducer of the pressure regulator shall comply with the provisions in 6.3.5.
2 Check shall be made as per 6.1.4 and 6.3.2 and specification shall be met,the clearance between butterfly valve and valve seat should be 0.50mm,and the spring leaf fixing the butterfly valve shall be in a free state.
3 The clearance between lever and limit block should be 0.15mm both at top and bottom.
6.3.12 The pilot valves of magnetic cutoff valve and electrical overspeed protection device must operate flexibly without looseness,the air hole on the pilot valve shall be well through,and the connection of core and pilot valve shall be firm.
