4.5　Constructive Prospecting and Productive Prospecting

4.5.1　Capital construction exploration shall be adopted in case of any of following conditions.

1　The deposit with complex geological conditions，of which measured recoverable reserves are still unavailable after geological investigation.

2　Proved recoverable reserves in geological survey phase，which is due to insufficient quantity or the distribution range not in the initial exploitation area.

3　Proved recoverable reserves in geological survey phase，which can not be used for capital construction due to the change of exploitation plan.

4　Small ore body with low control degree in geological survey phase，which will be recovered within capital construction range.

5　When there are ore bodies of different types or industrial grades to be separately mined and processed and the space distribution regularities and features are unavailable in the geological survey stage.

4.5.2　Open pit capital construction exploration range shall be deeper than capital construction development depth by 3 to 4 benches.Underground mine capital construction exploration range shall be deeper than block number of prepared reserves for capital construction by 1.5 times.

4.5.3　Project distance interval and measures of capital construction exploration and production exploration shall satisfy the following requirements:

1　The project distance between capital construction exploration and production exploration shall be determined as per the deposit survey type，the project distance and control effect adopted in geological survey phase as well as specific specification and conditions of the stope during capital construction.In order to achieve proved resources/reserves，the original project distance interval of geological survey shall be narrowed.

2　The exploration for capital construction and production of open pit mining should be trenching，costean，and drilling mainly，supplemented by mining blastholes.

3　The exploration for capital construction and production of underground mining should be test pitting and drilling，or combination of test pitting and drilling.Test pitting shall be combined with mining engineering.
