It is the process that continuous casting strand is directly delivered to rolling mill for rolling under 1100℃conditions without passing through reheating furnace after heating by edge heater during delivery.

It is the casting method that all continuous casting is performed close to as much as possible the final product dimension and profile.

It is the continuous casting strand with equal length of four section edges and 90°of all four inner angels.

2.0.7 Continuous Casting Rectangular Billet/Bloom

It is the continuous casting strand with equal length of two opposite edges in section,90°of all four inner angels,and length of longer edge not more than 2.5times of shorter edge's length.

2.0.8 Continuous Casting Slab

It is the continuous casting product with equal length of two opposite edges in section,90°of all four inner angels,and length of longer edge more than 2.5times of shorter edge's length.

2.0.9 Continuous Casting Round Billet

It is the continuous casting product with round section,and is a kind of continuous casting technology mainly used for production of seamless steel pipe.

2.0.10 Continuous Casting Beam Blank

It mainlyrefers to I shape blank and used for rolling of wide flange I beam and track beam.

2.0.11 Metallurgical Length

It is the outer bow length from caster mould level to end point of strand solidification.The metallurgical length is also the liquid core length calculated with maximum allowable casting speed of caster.

2.0.12 Continuous Casting Machine Length

It is the outer bow length from mould level to a final pair of pinch roll of caster segment/withdrawal and straightening machine.

It is a type of casting machine that the moving track of strand from mound to cut-to-length shearing is a plumb line.

2.0.14 Vertical Bending Continuous Casting Machine

It is a type of casting machine that the moving track of strand from mound to full solidification is a plumb line,and then the strand bents in certain diameter,after straightening,the strand discharges in horizontal direction.

2.0.15 Curved Continuous Casting Machine

It is a type of casting machine that the moving track of strand from mound to straightening unit approximately is 1/4 arc,and after straightening,the strand discharges in horizontal direction.

2.0.16 Straight Curved Continuous Casting Machine

It is a type of casting machine that the moving track of strand from mound to part of strand guiding unit is a plumb line,and then without fully solidified,the strand moves in certain arc after being bent through strand guiding unit,after straightening,the strand discharges in horizontal direction.

2.0.17 Horizontal Continuous Casting Machine

It is a type of casting machine that the moving track of strand from mound to discharging after cutting is a horizontal line.
